A lot has happened in the 6 months since our last blog post. In no particular order...
We took a road trip to Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks.
Brooklyn graduated from her 1st year of preschool.
We had a new baby, Gavin. He's pretty cute!
 Carter graduated from kindergarten.
 More of the new baby.
More of our trip. All 40 of us in Yosemite!
The General Sherman Tree in Sequoia.

Holiday Fun...
Halloween was full of pumpkin carving at Great Grandma Helen's and two of the cutest pirates around. The weather was great and the kids had lots of fun getting candy.

Thanksgiving
I think we had the warmest Thanksgiving in Koosharem history, the kids had lot of fun shooting guns and playing with cousins.

The kids are really excited for Christmas this year. We visited with Santa, put up the tree and got all the presents wrapped, we are officially ready now!

The crazy things I let my husband talk me into, Merry Christmas!

Fun Times...
We were so lucky and got to hang out with the Miller's and Keller's this weekend. These three kids had so much fun as usual. Carter could hardly believe Chloe was visiting all the way from Florida, he has missed her so much! Going through my pictures, I found a photo from two years ago. It's so fun to see these little ones grow as friends.

Last weekend we traveled to Zion again, this time taking my parents and our kids. It was a little hot still but we managed to get in quite a few trails and had lots of fun cooling off in our campground's pool.

Carter had lots of fun playing outdoor soccer this summer and even got to take his picture with the Real Salt Lake Lion.
Brooklyn has absolutely loved tumbling. She has lots of energy and so it's fun for her to get some of it out tumbling.

Summer Fun
This year Chad and I celebrated our 9th anniversary hiking in Zion National Park and hanging out for a few days in St. George.
St. George Temple
We camped one night at the Zion River Resort just outside of Zions. It was my kind of camping with bathrooms, showers and a swimming pool! We used Carter's tent which couldn't possibly be a 2 man tent like it said but had a fun experience anyway.
Our first trail was Angel's Landing. This is looking up from the bus to the top where the trail ends. It took us 3 hours up and back. It was a fun hike but the last 1/2 mile was a little scary! There are literally a few feet between you and the edge of the cliff. One girl was crying, holding on for dear life. One girl turned around and didn't finish but we made it all the way and I was so relieved to get back down safely!

The kids love the zoo and this year was even more fun because of all the life size, robotic dinosaurs. Carter had to find them all and snap a picture.

T-ball is Carter's new favorite sport. As opposed to his previous sports where he took a million drink breaks or picked grass in the field and played with his friends, he took T-ball really seriously!

This year Chad talked me into running a 5k in Springville. It was actually really fun considering I don't like running. The kids had fun being pushed but Carter wanted to run the last part which was a lap around the high school track. Everyone lines the track and cheers on the finishers, he thought is was pretty cool! The best part was it was sponsored by Nestle and we got to have all the free ice cream, granola bars, fruit and water we wanted after.
